The pentax k1000

The pentax K1000, my first film camera, a great companion, a pleasure to shoot. It may be basic and somewhat lacking in features, but, for the most part it will do what i need. It has a strong all metal body(note some versions were made out of plastic), very reliable due to it being so basic and mostly mechanical apart from the light meter and the lenses, need i say more, the k mount has some great cheap lenses which if one wants can be used easily on pentax's dslrs. Now i am not trying to over sell the camera, yes there are certainly manybetter 35mm slrs that's no doubt but i think this is more than adequate for any beginner and probably will, if you finally decide to upgrade end up still coming out to be used and have film put through it maybe if only as a back up or sencond camera but still i think it would.
